Don't feel like going off topic but,
Tha Carter 2 = Clasasic <--- proven
Tha Carter 3 = Mainstream Classic <--- Proven
2/3rds of his mixtapes = Classic <--- Proven

Not here to debate on Lil Wayne, but you can't prove a classic just by saying it's proven. It has to be widely accepted as a classic by most hip hop fans and critics. Which none of those albums are. Tha Carter 2 is the best out of the mentioned, besides No Ceilings (which is okay at best) and it wasn't very good
That being said...
Lil Wayne has never had a classic <--- Proven
Not trying to diss ya buddy, but you can't say an album's classic and put proven by it, when it's actually not proven
ALOT of people (ranging from old school fans, new, mainstream, underground has said C2 is a classic) More people then less has said it from the hiphop sites i go on like hhdx, rapbasement etc...
It has been proven by reviews, Critics, fans, listeners and artists what else is there to prove?
Just because YOU don't think it's a classic you cannot speak for everyone as a whole.
I've never heard anyone say C2 is a classic. I've never seen a review saying it or anything. I've seen reviews saying it's GOOD, but not a classic. Mediocre is not another word for classic
People, for instance, say Recovery is a classic. But, you probably don't think it is. Em fans think it's a classic, but Wayne fans may discard it. I personally think it's a classic in 2010 standards, which are not very high with Young Money being the most popular hip hop group. I'm sorry, I know you probably love YM, but their lyricism and subject matters are empty and emotionless. No album out past about...2002 is a real classic. The Marshall Mathers LP was a classic, THAT has been proven. C2 is regraded as the point where Wayne fell off afterwards, many hip hop heads know this, I've seen evidence. He recovered himself somewhat with No Ceilings. Wayne heads regard C2 as a classic, just like they consider everything else he puts out as a classic. It's simply a fact, any rapper's fanbase will say that their favorite rapper's album is a classic. Now, show me a review that says C2 is a classic, a major review like Allmusic , XXL, or Rolling Stone and I'll stop arguing
