Recvoery Breaks more Records

Postby Mahmoud48 » Aug 25th, '10, 22:07

This guy just won’t go away. Ha! For the seventh non-consecutive week, Recovery remains at the top of the Billboard 200. The only other male artist to have spent more weeks at number 1 was Usher with Confessions at nine weeks in 2004. As far as Hip Hop artists, Outkast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below was at the top spot for seven weeks during 2003/2004. A whole new meaning to one yourself.

Heres another record set this week:

Recovery sold 116,000 copies this week. Billboard's Keith Caulfield reports that it's the first album to top the 100,000 mark in weekly sales in each of its first nine weeks since NOW 20 did the trick in late 2005.
