The one song on Recovery that takes me back to his Shady days to me is Cold Wind Blows. It also happens to be the one song on the album I have never ever skipped once. I can't get sick of the song no matter what. I think that is mostly because of the feel of the song. The way he just rips into people on this track with no regard just seems the most genuine to me and the least forced. Almost as if it was taken from MMLP but the punchlines were replaced with today's pop stars/icons.
I do hear Shady on plenty of other songs on this album but none give me that old school "i don't give a fuck" feel as Cold Wind Blows does.
