Two - is the Star Wars metaphor a shout out to Obie Trice getting dropped. He says he keeps trying to pass the torch and mentions Obi...like ObiWan Kenobi (sp) or Obie...or is that just another one of his many star wars references?

On the second one, it's meant as a Star Wars references and an Obie trice shout-out. Both, at once. That's why he says no stopping the force (Star Wars) but then Obie = referring to O. Trice but the Star Wars reference is a link to get to him.

I've wondered this for a LONG TIME

I'm pretty sure it's talking about Star Wars, since it also mentions "the force" in that line. But in the back of my mind, I've always pictured that lyrics being about Obie Trice, I don't know why. I don't think it's a diss or anything, it couldn't be, they're still friends
