ems verse was dope. tell the world to hold there breath there breathing the wrong air , this planet belongs to me and hippy with long hair.

Lol i thought I was the only one who found it dope :sweating:

but yeah it'd be cool to hear the 2 again
even though nothing's better than the "Devil Without A Cause" album :smoking:

I agree. That album was the shit.

Rock/Rap is usually unbalanced. It's either too rock (screaming, solos, loud guitars) or too rap (mixing the guitar out, extremely simplistic musically, etc), but DWAC was a great balance of the two. Makes you wanna throw it in the deck and drive around all summer smoking you tires--among other things.

I thought Fuck Off was pretty good...more Rock than the rest of the album, but it's always great to hear Eminem over guitars, for some reason.

Okay, this is probably fake.

From KidRock.com:
Kid Rock will release his 8th studio album, “Born Free,” on November 16th via Atlantic Records. The record was produced by Rick Rubin and mixed by Greg Fidelman. The first single from the album will be, appropriately, “Born Free” which hits radio September 14th. “Born Free” is in many ways a transformational album for Kid Rock. While there is still the edge, wit, and swagger of previous albums, he doesn’t rap, there’s no metal – there isn’t even a parental warning sticker. Says Kid Rock, “The catalyst for this record was Detroit, and my thoughts on the world through the lens of Detroit. Watching everything go downhill over the past few years, the economy, the loss of jobs everywhere, I wanted to make a record that reflected the times but that still had soul.”

The bulk of the album was recorded live in a two week span in Los Angeles with a stellar cast of musicians including Heartbreaker Benmont Tench, Red Hot Chili Pepper Chad Smith, David Hidalgo from Los Lobos and Chavez guitarist Matt Sweeney. Studios in Detroit, Nashville and Atlanta were used to incorporate collaborations with Bob Seger, Sheryl Crow, Zac Brown, Trace Adkins, and in a pairing surely never to be replicated – T.I. and Martina McBride on the track “Care.” Kid Rock and Rick Rubin, as friends, have spent many hours talking about their respective histories – starting in hip-hop, crossing into and creating new territories – as well as the need for a great new American classic rock record that challenges the field. “Born Free” is in part the result of those conversations – an album that is meant to be played from start to finish.

The appearances scheduled to promote “Born Free” will be revealed shortly, in addition to tour activities.

Wow, he doesn't rap on the new album? That's pretty retarded. Ever since Cocky, Kid Rock has sucked ass because he stopped rapping

He can probably write at least two verses with no cuss words. He almost did it on Mockingbird (if my memory serves correct, haven't listened to the song in a long time)

On the bright side this is bull shit lol
Rock stated, "I wanted some Metallica style riffs on the songs where I wasn't rapping. Lucky for me, Papa Het had some leftover riffs that Metallica wasn't gonna use. We added some drums, a fuck load of bass and just layed that shit down. I'm fucking ecstatic". :p

ALSO he's gonna have an unknown titled freestyle with Lil Wayne sampled to The Who's "Eminent Front".

I'm not saying he can't write without cursing. Of course he could if he wanted to, he doesn't NEED to swear and that view by people of "if you swear a lot you lack vocab" etc. is complete nonsense.

But in almost every feature he usually does swear as he has a short amount of time to emphasize things so like's to get the listener's attention and spazz out for a bit.

So I just think it's unlikely he wouldn't swear on a Kid Rock... Or, two Kid Rock features.

True, Em is known for his swearing, it wouldn't be the same. He could do it, though. I hope that there is a parental advisory sticker, this album would blow without it. Even his worst and most mainstream album, Rock N Roll Jesus, had swearing all in it. I mean, not that swearing makes a song any more or less good, but I smell Rock going further and further into country music, and that would suck hard
