Yeah i agree with you on the pills part, i mean when they interview him thats all they fking ask and shit, he only seems to talk about that on interviews and i find it annoying that he cant come up with some new shit. I just found the whole Not Afraid thing really insincere and fake; Key of Awesome said it best, what the fuck's he complaining about? He spends the song/video looking angry and telling his "haters" to drop dead and all this, but it's not 2000. He isn't public enemy #1, no matter how many times he rips on Michael J. Fox and Elton John. This whole "I know what you're going through, come with me and take my hand" bollocks is just stupid; he's a fucking billionaire superstar rapper who OD'd on prescription pills, it's not like the everyman can relate to what he's "not afraid" of. He bitches and complains through Not Afraid, but he's managed to basically fuck off from music entirely for a good three years, then come back and have two albums sell well in an age where everyone downloads music, with one of those albums being full of garbage wannabe-Slim Shady LP material, yet he acts like he's persecuted or that he's going through troubles. It just seems really stupid to me. The Eminem from even Encore or, shit, even Relapse would not give a thought to preaching to the world about "overcoming his demons" (actually i take that back cause Beautiful was pretty fucking soppy too). And okay his personal life's been a bit troubling lately, but why does he have to go the Not Afraid route? Deja Vu from Relapse was the perfect track to cover his absence and almost-fatal overdose, he doesn't need to do this shit.

Not that i don't like the album, cause i do, i just can't stand Not Afraid. I think it's corny, fake, melodramatic and any other negative adjective i can think of.
