I've started listening to Relapse again and I'm really starting to appreciate it more for the top notch lyricism, flow and beats.
Yeah, you just gotta understand Relapse and where he's coming from. It's like a more violent, graphic SSLP to me. I prefer it to SSLP, I've said that a lot. His voice on it turned me off, I liked the accent kinda. At first I didn't, but he flows so well with the beats I eventually didn't even notice. I am glad he ditched it though. I want to hear Relapse 2. I like Recovery loads more though, but I appreciate Relapse for what it is
Yeah but the more I listen to Relapse the more I can't help but think about how Relapse 2 would have sounded like.....Really makes me wonder what he would have brought to the table with that album concept-wise.
If the songs on Refill were any indication, Relapse 2 would have been miles ahead of Relapse
