Watching Jay-Z from an elevated platform in the center of the field was Lady Gaga, wearing a silver micro-skirt that blew up in the wind and sporting a long silver wig similar to the one she wore on her recent Vanity Fair cover.

Gaga swayed to the rhythms of Jay's set, bobbed her head along to "Empire State of Mind" and held a diamond sign in the air during the bombastic "U Don't Know."

Gaga, who is in town for her concert Saturday at the Palace of Auburn Hills, was surrounded by several bodyguard types and sipped from a seemingly bottomless plastic cup.

She was visible to the thousands of fans on the field below, many of whom pointed and gawked when she made her way to her seat before Jay's set.

She stayed for around an hour and ducked out to the backstage with around 20 minutes to go in Jay's set. Also spotted in the area was "Lost" star Dominic Monaghan.
