50 couldve been prolly the biggest hip-hop star of all time.... hadn't he released such a poor 2nd album.

He ran out of tricks after album #1 and yes I'm talking Power of the Dollar. All he was ever good at, seriously good at was writing hooks. But he's even poor at that now since Curtis aside a few.

He's an ex-crack dealer with a record deal. He can either rap about his life or he's stuck, nothing at all. He's repeated himself in circles for five albums now and expect the next one to be the same. That ain't an artist. An artist should have the ability to create originality.

Get Rich was the best he could give and then all he could do was give slightly worse each time round. But even Get Rich, when you listen to the verses the vast majority are not very good at all. He's always been an average-to-awful lyricist with occasional flashes of greatness. He was the best on Power of the Dollar but it was his flow which made his subpar lyricism sound nice. When he lost that, he lost it all.

See the thing is, a great flow can make bad lyrics sound great. And a bad flow can make great lyrics sound bad. He has neither a great flow or great lyrics. So his bad flow just makes his average lyrics sound awful.

50's first tow albums were dope,,,, amazing production helped.... ALOT,,, but i mean i really think 50 cent is way better than alot of mainstream rappers out today,,,,, for example drake and lil wayne.... like holy fuck i listened to drakes album several times and he just completly sucks,,,
50 cents BISD wasn bad either,,, not as good as his first two but it was better than rebirth and drakes piece of shit record
50 cent had a pretty decent flow his first two records,, but also as some people had said before,, his voice,,,, like i dont know but theres somethin about it that just sorta helps the recrd out alot,,,, and i cant remember what song it was but he used the word "BONKERS" and that was just dope lol.... the song went somethin like "i'm the cookie monstaaa my flow is BONKAS" damn wat song was it lol

The Massacre was by no means dope if that's what you mean by his 2nd. It's trash.

I mean seriously some of the lyricism and flows on that album are cringing they're so bad. He by no means had a dope flow, he lost his flow after he got shot in the mouth.

Which certainly fucked up his speech a bit but he proved on BISD on tracks like "Death to my Enemies" that he can still flow if he puts effort in. He's just a lazy rapper in every aspect.

I heard this was Jay Z idea so thats probably why. He probably could of did it with 50 too. There is no doubt that an Eminem/50 Cent home and home shows would sell out the same way.
