Eminem Set to Open MTV Video Music Awards

I can't see Eminem being much of an opening act.

They should have got Kanye to do it.

If Eminem brings his band and they do something similar to their opening at Comerica Park, he can make Kayne look amateurish. I don't remember the name of the award show Kayne recently opened but he was just standing there and it was very boring. I know he has a video that represents a moving painting but I think VMAs need someone who has lots of energy. I don't think Kayne can compete with Eminem when it comes to the energy on stage and the ability to pump up the crowd.

Rhianna has been in Hawaii for the last couple of weeks filming a movie called Battleship--definitely since before the Detroit shows. There are photos of her on set and on the beach in a bikini like every day.

Since he's opening, maybe he'll do No Love and/or something with Dre. I don't think he'd do an "old" song like NA.

smh you could say he has some weird moves w/e (cuz it's true) but from what I've seen of his latest show the energy is definitely there

I think he has lots of energy. Most people that saw his recent shows said that and some of them even feel it's the best show they ever attended. Many performers have to cancel their shows duet to low ticket sales. Eminem never had this problem since he always had a reputation of a good performer.
