I don't understand how "certification" trumps "sales".

Fuck what hes been certified for. If he has sold 38 million, hes sold 38 million. Even if he didn't have a single plaque... what, in that case would you say hes sold no more than you or I???

Adding them up, it looks like hes already at 37.6 million. And, of course, that doesn't include The Re-Up, 8 Mile Soundtrack, Devil's Night or D12 World... with even a few of those albums he would be well over 40 million...

According to Nielsen SoundScan, his U.S. album sales are 38.3 million, (now 38.4 or more)
I mean people (and MTV) seems to care about Nielsen SoundScan more because these are the real ones.

So if RIAA doesn't get paid or whatever, everybody know the deal.

When The Eminem Show will be above 10 million at NS numbers, everybody will know it's diamond too.

RIAA is the one that came up with the certification type things so technically it isnt diamond just because it sells 10,000,000 just like it isnt platinum if it sells of 1,000,000. It has to be certified.

If you said diamond eligible after it get's over 10,000,000 that would be correct (it's already diamond eligible, as if interscope applied, it would get Diamond for TES and MMLP).

Eminem has sold more albums then any other rapper. That's not the point, I'm talking about certifications. The point is they should be certified.

The Eminem Show is on the front page of iTunes under the past favorites. It's having an effect cause it's #101 on the iTunes album chart. Lately it has been in the 170s area without being on the front page. I wouldn't be shocked if it worked it's way back in the 200.
