Kanye West finishing 'Runaway' film

Kanye West has revealed that his film venture involves an ancient mythological bird, rebirth and a fire bomb. Yep, you guessed it: 'Ye is putting the finishing touches on a 40-minute film called Runaway.

“It’s the story of a phoenix fallen to Earth, and I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world,” Yeezy told New York magazine.

Without revealing too many details about the flick, Kanye has been dropping hints on Twitter. Runaway is supposed to accompany his next album, the name of which is still unknown.

He said the phoenix is a great representation of how he’s been feeling lately, especially after last year’s Taylor Swift fiasco at the MTV Video Music Awards. The phoenix is a mythological bird that burned itself to ashes and returned youthful and energized for a new life.

“It’s maybe parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person,” Kanye said.

After filming in Prague, he’s now in the editing phase. Last week, Kanye told his followers, “I want to edit the film on a boat. Where are the good editing boats?”

Although we don’t know too much about the mystery movie, it’s obvious that Kanye has been keeping himself busy with several projects.

Because Em and Kanye are two of my favourite rappers; I feel Kanye is currently the most creatively ambitious rapper and that Eminem is the most technically brilliant. And that Kanye is lacking Em's technical brilliance and visa versa. So a marriage of the two's elements would create THEE perfect rapper.

So when I think of one I usually think of the other. Compare and contrast, it's just a natural link in my head now.
