Is there definitely a Em/Snoop beef?

Postby PetaParker » Sep 17th, '10, 06:42

I saw 50 on MTV talking about Snoop and the Home and Home concerts. He just said Snoop didn't do it because of some kind of politics. Whatever that means

most of the time "politics" refers to the label.

I don't think Snoop ever liked Em too much, he said he don't listen to Em's music. But that doesn't mean that there's a "beef"

I dont think Snoop ever liked Em a whole lot, too. There's an interview somewhere where he says he doesnt listen to Eminem's music because he's a "G" (lol @ that) and when the interviewer mentions that one of his songs contains the same sample as "Stan" he gets very aggitated at the interviewer. You can tell there's a little friction there.

They were never best friends really, and Chris wanting to kill Sean didn't really help the situation.

Haha that was so many years ago...

But I seriously doubt there's any beef between them.

That quote always made me laugh, that he doesnt listen to Eminem because hes a G. I think some rappers get so engrossed in the whole "gangster" persona that they truly believe they really are gangsters.

idk. i remember there was an interview snoop did about he's reaction when he heard "Kim". i think that was on Bio channel. and he sounds like they're cool with each other. and besides, they're under the same "family tree".

I think they get on fine, but are just doing very different things with their careers right now and wouldn't mesh in 2010. Snoop is definitely a staple of "Black America" and the hip-pop/commercial scene (which isn't any less respectable), and Eminem has shifted recently to a more "White America" alternative rock-inspired, radio-but-not-club-friendly style.

Just because their current styles would mix like oil and water doesn't mean they don't like each other.
