It's HDR Toning which means it's the luminance between the lightest and darkest areas of an image. It looks good on sceneries but terrible on people.

That's how those rumors start btw. Lots of people still can't tell whether an image is photoshopped or not.

Hello, I see there were a lot of conversations about if a photo was real or photoshopped. The photos that I put on flickr were edited, but not to the point where it would change him. I am submitting the raw image so that you can see the photo right out of the camera. Without an edit the natural features don't come out. The edit does make everything pop. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is not.
