Why I'm Tired Of Recovery

Postby DirtySouth » Sep 21st, '10, 03:37

Literally EVERY track off the album is constantly in rotation on the radio in my area more than any other artist is played on the the radio.
(I'm dead serious he gets more airplay than Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and all that other pop garbage.)
People in cars are always bumping the album when they're driving by.
My neighbors are always playing songs off the album OBNOXIOUSLY loud almost every night.
I never thought I would say this but It's really getting annoying now.....

Call Eminem at 1-800-IMA-DICK-SUCKER-ILOVE2-SUCK-ADICK. And talk all the shit you want about him but just follow it by the pound key.

While you're at it tell him to make a new album.

Don't worry I feel you :smoking:
But think about it... I would have never thought I'd see people bumpin it and singing lots of Em songs..
Especially saying part of there lyrics on a status or just out loud in a class...
Instead of it being embarrassing to listen to Eminem.. You have to listen Eminem!
It's annoying and interesting at the same time.. I bump it every now and then.
I guess thats what he means by being on top of the game.. and he is! :worship:

Edit: I even have my sisters, brothers, cousins, parents telling me they are hearing a lot of Eminem lately all around stores and crap! Doesn't get crazier than this! Also a lot of radio play :flower:

Getting old for me as well. But this is the longest I've ever listened to an album after release by FAR. So Em did an awesome job. And I imagine it'll be one of those things that's fresh every time you take a break and come back to it.

Yo Nollie man, this is kinda off topic but I loved that video you posted of yourself talking after you popped some pills. Hahaha I was high as hell when I saw it so it was entertaining. :y:

Same here bro', shit it is getting annoying, can't stand it, today I even played in my car and I put on Recovery only listen to like 2 songs and shit got annoying so I put on The Eminem Show instead. Sounded better in my ears I guess it's cause we listen to it so much that we are just sick of it now, but I guess that's just me, anyways I'm still happy about the album. I mean i'm still gonna listen to it every now and then, but whenever i feel the need to turn my finger aint pointing know where else but that off button.

I'm just tired of hearing it everywhere I go...There's been plenty of dope hip-hop albums that came out this year and they aren't getting nearly as much attention as Recovery is like How I Got Over by The Roots and Sir Lucious by Big Boi.

Somebody here said that now you don`t have to be embaressed for listening to Em. Well, when was it embaressing? Recovery is like his fourth best album, so how it could ever been embaressing listening to Eminem? :facepalm

And, when I get tired of Recovery, I switch to his older stuff. Shit never gets old.

Lucky me! My neighbors think hiphop music is ehhhhh.
August 22 2013 - from Berlin to Paris, 400€ spent just for Eminem. IT WAS WORTH EVERY SINGLE CENT!
