not a troll just wanted to express my opinion on this album, as its my favorite...and im new so not trying to start anything.

i know meaningful and lyrically deep wise its not the best. but as in spitting wise, craziness wise, and wordplay wise...i think its em's best album, and my favorite to listen to.

anyone ever tried and loved and have had crazy experiences with the stuff he talks about on this album? vicodin..xanax..lunesta...ambien...hydrocodone.....i truly believe if you don't know the pills he is talkin about and how they can truly take their toll on you and take over your life, you cant truly enjoy this album...i think anyone whose been thru alot with drugs can obviously relate to this album. ive been there done that and i know a lot of ppl who think this album sucked just because he spazzed on this album and talked about crazy psycho shit and drugs ppl dont know about...but it was on point and his wordplay and multis on this album were so so insane....and its the perfect album to listen to when you're pilled out lol.

so whose actually experienced with some of the pills em's rapped about? i just love Relapse its probably my favorite hip hop album of all time next to all eyez on me...its so different and i had never felt a similiar vibe to any album this was so different and i cant think of another album that spazzes out like this....

no because that was eminem's reality. he was tellin the story and revealing some truths while he was hiding all the pain from the public...here he addresses the situation and admits his struggle. thats on some real shit

I respect the album for what it is, which is a concept album which is technically awesome, but has no real replay appeal.

I'd never disregard what the record says, i just think everyone can agree that Recovery being the stronger overall. And people who say he's getting more mainstream haven't got a clue, he just made music that was catchy, nice to listen to, and could appeal to anyone.. Got dudes confused cos he hadn't made 'good music' (not literally, just as far as finding song structures again that caught the ear) since '03 ('04 if you're being picky, but just cos lose yourself made number one doesn't make it better than the same lazy shit he was putting out at that time).

I'm a 19 year old student with a house of 5 mates, 2 being dealers.

Now i'd never say to anyone 'do this' or 'do that' or say someones not 'cool' for not taking drugs, i'm not a dick like that.. But regarding your last statement, i really hope you're either 16 and still listening to what mummy says about the naughty substance that is spliff, or you're in your 30's with a decent job and maybe a wife and kids, cos you're too busy and responsible for that shit..

If you're neither, then referring to saying people should occasionally get high as if he encouraged murder, is a tad lame. You either live a little or know the facts, by that sentence, i doubt you do either tbh.

P.S. I did great at school, got in to Uni, got Firsts in my first year, now entering my second, and i'm a white kid from a suburban town.. It doesn't give me the excuse not to enjoy life how i wish despite you thinking that it's below you. And if you're as young as i think you are, don't go with that attitude to any form of proper education that involves socialising as a major part of it. Cos i'm housed up with a guy who doesn't even smoke weed, but he sits with us and chills, respecting what appeals to us. Never got into pills like that when I was into doin drugs.......From 03-07 I did ALOT of coke, because I live in floruida and its everywhere round here I guess, but other then that and smokin weed I never liked anything else...........I ate an Oxycontin once and it made me feel sick as hell, then it laid me out on the couch for the rest of the day, when I did get high I liked to go out and do stuff, the pills just werent for me I guess

Smoke quite a lot of weed.. Tried MDMA, tried 2CB.. Tried E properly for the first time tonight, and i was buzzing for my mates 21st like i was 5 and it was Christmas hahaha

Would never try Coke, don't like snorting tbh. MDMA is half the strength i think generally of Coke, and 2CB is Acid, both were one offs. The only thing on my 'to do' list is shrooms, heard good things, hoping to see great things haha

im from san antonio and i was always in an environment thru my early teenage years were the drugs were at...they never like DESTROYED me i never went to rehab, never OD'ed or anything, just failed a buncha classes lol and picked up a few misdemeanors here and there. but pills arent that bad it was an everyday thing for me in my early years of high school...and i just thought it was so crazy my favorite rapper made an album talkin about drug addiction and pills cuz its not the most positive thing ya can relate to, but its something millions of ppl can relate to...addiction.
