^ she may or may not beat Em in first week, that I don't know, but I'm sure she'll outsell Em in the end, her first album sold close to 5 mili & her second sold over 6 mili (and still selling). Like I already said rap is not the genre that sells anymore, one of the reasons Em sold what he sold in the last decade is because that's the era where rap/r&b was ruling, just take a look at the last decade chart and you'll see what I'm saying, all the best sellers were rap albums from Eminem, Nelly, 50 cent..

Relapse did 2 million and he was gone for 5 years. And it didnt have good singles.

But now recovery has 3 good singles and the album sell very good so she wont even be near him this year:D

Relapse had a re-release though. And don't flame me but I believe lots of ppl buying Eminem's music are not even into rap, that's why he's still going strong in sale compare to other rappers.
and Taylor Swift's album will sell 3 millions at the very least, I believe she could go to 5 millions while Recovery could be at like 4 millions at most (if the next singles successful)
At least WW country can't sell shit though so Taylor's US sale is pretty much the overall sale while Recovery could do 6 millions WW

Don't be very sure of it, these things are very unpredictable. Look what happened to Miley and plenty of others that experienced a huge drop in sales comparing to their previous albums. You also thought Not Afraid would drop out of iTunes Top 100 within two weeks. The fact Eminem has been a top seller and is the world's best selling artist of the decade is not a coincidence. On the other hand Taylor Swift still has to prove her longevity. Yeah, she released two very successful albums but there are plenty of artists that released such two albums but it never happened the third time or the fourth time. It's always very risky with the artists that lack talent. And Taylor Swift is below-average singer imo. If you can't insure your popularity with your art, you always risk the audience could get tired of your perona just anytime and you will have nothing to support your career.

things is, the likes of Miley or Katy was never a big album sellers to begin with, that's why I was so sure Katy would do like 200k first week (turned out she even did less) Taylor is different, she is an album seller and she proved it. She has a wide demographics from kids to adults buying her music and seeing her last album still selling till now she's secured to sell well with this new one (though I don't think it would be as successful as the last one). Also it was unpredictable for Miley cuz she changed her image dramatically and that turned off all the parents while Taylor is still the same.

It has sold 2.6 millions so far with 2 biggest singles from album already released, I would love to see it at 5 millions but I don't see how as No Love doesn't look like it will be a big single and the hype about recovery has died down.

recovery is different way more mainstream and i think he has another 2 singles left in him space bound as one, so yeah if that happens 5mill is a possibility

1. Taylor wont outsell Eminem this year
2. She will realese her album oct 25 . Em and her will get christmas boost.
3. Em is already on 2.6 mil right now.
4. She only got 1 single out and it isnt bigger then Not Afraid was.
5. Eminem will realese No love video this week .
6. It is EMINEM WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.
