It's his own fault. He sold out and became a pop star. Like Irv GOtti said, Em could've took a beat like Hard Knock life and it would still be a hit. But he decided to do things that can only work for him. Dude's catalog is horrible. Not to mention between 2003-2009, he really didn't do shit.

But what those tapes did was drive him further underground. THose tapes were the beginning of is hibernation. He was beyond embarrassed that those tapes got out. After those tapes came Encore and the constant trips to rehab. And the long layoff between quality material. So the Tapes hurt him from that standpoint.

At one point in time Eminem was the most talented rapper ever. He still is an incredible talent. He just never had the right mix of producers. Dre held him back to be honest.

That's approximately 500 tracks that Eminem has recorded. He has a racist tape, that he apologized for repeatedly. And never actually released. And he was like 16 or some shit (like you never did dumber shit at that age).

You counted 6 tracks, 1 of which (BfB) shouldn't be on there. But still, I'm going to add Fack, and Big Weenie. That is 7 tracks total that were whack. 7 of 500 tracks still leaves him with 493 keepers. You're seriously referring to 0.71% of his arsenal, and taking for granted the other 99.29%.

Stop making it plural. Once again, it was one track. And it was recorded almost a decade before Encore. Encore, by the way, in case you've forgotten, consisted of tracks such at Yellow Brick Road, Mocking Bird, Renegade, Mosh, When I'm Gone, Never Enough, Crazy In Love, and Like Toy Soldiers.

For your information buddy I grew up in an inner-city neighborhood in Northern California that's predominately populated with blacks and Hispanics and I lived there for 16 years of my life, I'm 18 now so yeah I basically grew up around blacks.

Ummm to me he is #1 in the rap game but I bet many people wouldn't give him that much credit simply because there's the race issue (white kid being the best in something dominated by black kids? bitch, please!) and b/c Eminem is still alive.
