Recovery butt fucks TES. That said, my love for TES grew a lot. Now I´d put it on par with MMLP and above Relapse, which I used to love more. TES has excellent replay value.

TES = emotional, personal, etc.,

different albums.. different categories.. it all depends on who's listening to it and what do they feel at that time. different views of different types of fan.

Well people say The Marshall Mathers LP is his best probably because it's his most important and exciting album.

As a piece of art, The Marshall Mathers LP is by far his most significant. What he did with it, consuming every criticism and literally becoming it in every sense for an entire album like that... It's a piece of reactionary genius and the timing and everything was just... Magical.

But yeah as an album; musically, lyrically and structurally etc. The Eminem Show is his best.

Nah "SiGn for the moment" sounded a bit too generic to sound "raw" - maybe it's because his verses are perfect in that song and what's perfect can't be raw can it? No it can't for God's sake SFTM sounds like a pop song but I LOVE it! There, I said it.

MMLP was more raw hiphop than TES
the beats were original (Kill you), the content of his lyrics was shocking, he had the 'whatever' attitude.
TES is way more cleaner and polished..

I have to prefer MMLP, but it is more a feeling. could not really give a rational explanation, but thats always difficult when it comes to music..

Agree. I actually can't decide which of his albums I like the best. The first three have similar themes but have different approaches which makes it incredibly hard to pick one.

I agree overall TES is better than MMLP but I'd say the top songs off MMLP is better than the top songs off Eminem Show. The Way I Am and Stan > anything on Eminem Show apart from maybe Sing For The Moment.
