Did they HAVE to only show Eminem singing choruses? People who don't listen to his music and are also idiots (and there are tons of those) are going to think that's all he does and be like, "how is this guy talented? He writes words and repeats them over and over?!"

Not to mention, they highlighted "Not Afraid"...his own fault for writing that piece of shit, I guess.

They also seem to have edited out all of the GOOD parts...I really wish he would've read something from his box of lyrics. I think he also probably went into more detail about "Criminal," as that part was blatantly edited.

^^ Have you ever heard on 3SNF? It means "3 Songs No Flash [Photography]" and the management (blame Paul, as usual) makes up the same rules for filming soooo....don't be surprised that they only used popular songs and what's popular about them among the masses: the choruses.

Btw I didn't see this as a "The genius that is Eminem"- commercial - I think he's past that. By now the whole world knows that he is a lyrical genius. Even my MOM knows this and she barely speaks English.

The questions are ever repeating it's like this interview was made in 2002/3 minus the hair and the drugs.

What I never get is this: If they start this line of questioning, why don't they ask the right ones? Yes, you could argue that his crass lyrics are problematic, but not because he actually means them literally. Why is everyone so obsessed with taking everything literally? But there's a point to be made that his jokes about gays, women, violence, the disabled etc. are problematic because it perpetuates the norms of a homophobic, sexist, generally intolerant and brutal society. I wouldn't neccessarily agree with such an argument, but it's much more valid than the usual "OMG! Let's be outraged at Eminem...okay, bored now, let's watch Transformers with cool shit blowing up and Megan Fox running around half-naked!" bullshit.
