Because Eminem has always been better at making his points in his songs where he can structure his thoughts and arguments. He also seemed to be mostly responding to the "Why are you using these words?" "What did you think about the outrage?" part of the questions. And the answer to that is "the hip hop culture as a whole uses this language" and "People may have been more freaked out because they thought he was reaching a "respectable" white audience that black rappers didn't". And considering the recent Vince Vaughn shitstorm, I don't know how well the "satire" explanation would have gone over with Cooper LOL.
