I can understand they can hate him-especially from his 99-01 period. Now denying his ability or talent or saying that what he does is crap and shitty music, that, I believe is just being blind and ignorant to his ability. But not liking the music is understandable.

Look, Eminem, who is one of the biggest stars ever, and his music is controversial, and he saya lot of crazy shit, he is a gold mind for people who want attention of the media, but have no talents or other ways of getting it. All you have to do is rise against Em`s homophoby and polluting of the youth, and you get to papers, tv shows...

And a lot of "hip hop fans", and people in general think that a rapper must be black, gang member that killed 5 dudes,with a big chain, surrounded with half-naked chicks. And how can white boy who is not a gangsta be an MC. So they do not even listen to any of his songs, they just hate. That is sad, but true.

Same question could be applyed to lots of other rappers,don't think there is one artist outhere that doesn't have haters.I do think that many people hate his hardcore fans more(stans),people that say "he's the best"or "he's the king of rap" ,people that don't even listen to other rappers and pretend to be rap/hip-hop fans.
And i doubt there are so many HATING him,they probably just don't like his style,like others don't like Weezy,50Cent or even 2Pac.My hubby doesn't like hip-hop much,maybe just a handfull of songs,am i suposse to fight with him over this?lol.It's your own choise who you listen,i don't care what others think.Don't like,don't listen,pure and simple.

How can people hate Tech, Jay-Z, 2Pac, Biggie, Royce, Nas etc. You can keep on going but some people just don't know how to appreciate talent as abundantly as that talent may be present.

IMO recognizing talent is not a matter of opinion but people are blind to it sometimes.
