Do you smoke before? or write sober? if you care to awnser.

Also, something im confused about... Is there a set "method" to writing? or do you just write out ur music like you would typing a thread, just going with it like you read? or is it a step-by-step process? go back scribble this out, replace this word, these two words dont ryhme just right or what?

Sober, I do smoke a hookah sometimes before I write.. I look for a beat that expresses my mood and then I start writing. The beat should inspire you to write, usually I come up with a concept or I just use a concept I had already thought of. After I'm done with a verse, I go back and see if the rhymes are where they belong and if the flow is good enough. This usually takes me, approximately, 20-30 minutes per song/verse. Really depends on my mood. I do write better during the night/evening, and I'm slowly fading away from writing on paper to using Word. Though, I still consider paper the better option. Songs/verses written on paper are so much better than typed ones.

sober always but I have otherwise. I have only written to a beat a few times. I write better when I have silence tbh. I dont always have an idea or inspiration sometime I just freewrite for 5-10 mintues and get all the useless stuff out of my head and clear my mind or get wat I want out. Sometimes I can even post my freewrites. But when I do have something I want to write about I write straight out. I dont care about structure, which allows me to just write my lines however long I hear them in my head. I know people like class and maybe Fa-Q will do like drafts and refix and re-structure to make everything all nice and neat, but this does help with the flow. I hear everythig in multis so this helps the flow when I have a line 10 syllable then a line 24 afterwards. But yeah most of the drops I have I will just write it all out without stoppin, then kinda skim through it once or twice then post it. I usually am just ready to post it I dont even proof haha

I sit down & focus on writing sometimes... (depends on what kinda mood i'm in..if i'm high or not...the beat...etc)
other times voices freestyle in my head & i write what they say
other times bars just come to me as i'm writing some shit

I have to have perfect circumstances when I write lol. I can't be tired or hungry or anything like that. And if I'm in a bad mood cause of something that happened at school I can't write about anything until I get that off of my chest, that's why I have a lot of whiney, emo pieces. Also, all my rhymes have to be perfect so if I can't get a good rhyme for something then I'll just stop for that day and pick it up in a few days and see if something comes to me then, whether that's the 2nd line into a verse, the 8th or the 15th.

I'm similiar to Chambers, i write sober and i only ever write with the beat on, if the beat sparks something then the song just comes out immediately lol. I will often go back and make edits like change words to fit the flow or stuff like that, but not until i've written the entire song first.

i dont write to a beat ..... i write to a flow in my head

I usuallly think up a punchline then set it up then keep going until im bored / out of idea's

Never wrote high. Freestyling high is fun though.

I prefer typing up rhymes. I think of lines all the time and once I have a few good ones I use them to write a 16 or something. String them together and if I can't finish it in one sitting I usually scrap it and use them some other time. Always to a beat. If I'm going for something conceptual I write it then and there, no stopping. I don't really edit or revise unless I want to record the piece and then only to fix it for my breath control.
