I agree, it's sad when someone like her is one of the top 'hottest' artists of the year when there's so many better artists that deserve the fame instead of a mediocre rapper like her (or Wacka Flocka or Gucci, etc.)

? did you not read the list title? "MTV's Hottest Mc 2010", not "Best rappers", Buzz is the first thing they use to decide the list

They really need to change the name of this list.. Top 10 'Hyped' Rappers would be more fitting. Cause its all about buzz and that's it.

..And they'll most likely have Eminem at number 1. Because they fucked him last year. Then they'll completely fuck up the rest of the list and act like it is true because having Eminem at 1 automatically equals more credibility. Well at least in MTV's fucked up minds. I can definitely see them thinking this way.

Besides.. MTV lost any say in music when they can't even play at least an hour of music in a day.

i didnt say mtv doesnt base it on buzz, all i was saying is that i think you're being biased cause the fact she's a female rapper.. and the only reason she's got a "buzz" to begin with is cause she features on tracks with with big name artists (Luda, Wayne and Usher)

im not saying she doesnt have a buzz.. she certainly does and you're probly 100% correct when you said MTV bases their decision on that.. as its the "hottest" mc's, rather than the best. i just believe she got most of her buzz cause she feat. with other big name artists, and i think there are other mc's that deserve it before her. that is all...
