I am satisfied with the result, but not with the way we're playing. Almost nothing was working in the attack, maybe there was a lack of creativity. The defense was nothing special too, all props to Cech for being on A-level today, he was the man of the match, imo.

Bosingwa brought refreshment to the right side, he will be of great use this season, Kalou should've started instead of Anelka, and maybe Josh instead of Zhirkov (even though the Russian is improving).

Anyway, new club record today, 8 games in a row without a single goal conceded (on SB, that is).

Disagree with Kalou starting, He only has pace and plays poor 90% of the time he starts. He seems to of found himself effective comming off the bench when the oppo has been warn down abit.

I said that because he seemed really motivated today, dunno...

Same applys to a degree with Josh, He is comming on when we are a few goals to the good, and are pushing teams into there own box. Think its a little soon to be giving him a start or 90 mins. Got to remember how young he is, Beside there may be a good chance for this if we in our next Champs league game and effectively can play and try new things in the last 2 games of the group.

It might be better for him to gain more experience if he starts, he can be substituted later on. I guess it will happen against the weaker opponents, we'll see.

Great win yesterday, thoroughly deserved. Chek Tiote looks like one of the signings of the summer. Incredible player, never gives the ball away, never overcomplicates the play.
