Eminem has hundreds, if not over a thousand unreleased songs. Dr.Dre said way back every time around when he drops an album he's got about 200 songs and there's like 30-40 of them which could be an album material.
Lloyd Banks just confirmed it on that last video, and put himself in the same category saying he records like 3 songs and a couple of freestyles every recording session. If Em worked 5 days a week as he says, the number of songs he ever recorded might be ridicilous.
Most of those songs never get mixed and mastered anyway but he scrapped two full lenght albums in front of our faces in between Encore and Recovery. That's a huge number right there plus there was another rumored & scrapped album way back in which he was gonna kill Slim Shady.
D12's song 'My band' was written and recorded in less than 20 minutes while Em and the rest of D12 members were recording other songs and decided to do a song in which EM would be "the leading singer of their band" because he was acting like one that whole day to make them mad. It supposed to be a joke song that turned out to be the first single of their second album.

We'll never hear those, most of them are outta their standards to be released.

They made My Band because besides Em, Bizarre & Proof, fans & the gen. public kept getting Kuniva, Mr. Porter, & Swift mixed up, so they made it into a joke song, with commercial value.
