I'm not trying to disrespect anyone here... But will someone explain to me what makes Jay-Z that much better than NaS?... I've liked Jay's choice of beats and he clearly has skills -- but why do twice as many people prefer him to NaS? Just asking... Thanks.

well lyrical it is probz nas cos he can ryhme like every word and make it sound good and his lyrics are real deep but i voted jayz as i like his sound better

Coz most of the people who voted just picked the one they know most about.

Technically rakim is the best rapper out of these, judjing by lyrics complexity and how deep the message was.

Ohh and 2pac is NOT the best rapper, infact no one is the best rapper.

Yeah, i knew when i saw Rakim on the list, you`d be kickin ass in this thread. I can`t understand the amount of Jay-Z votes, it`s a fuckin disgrace, just cos Eminem says he went out on top like Michael Jordan. That`s bullshit, he got his ass whooped by Nas and never really earned that respect back. He`s all about the money. Even though he is a great lyricist, he`s at least half way down this poll.
