Gangster Vs Working man

Postby Mc Cubz » Mar 12th, '06, 00:29

One of my all time best flims is A Bronx Tale. Its mainly about a kid whose dad is a working man (bus-driver) and he gets involved with gangsters who mock his dads working lifestyle and his dad encourages him to get a legit job. I got friends who are guna take medicine at uni an other who wear bulletproofs and I respect and appreciate both them in different ways. Does anyone have any views on this issue. I mean I know that in certain situations some people have a simple choice of being in deep poverty or making money through drugs an gangsterism.

Work is a hard thing, especially if u have to start from practically nothig. Lot of young people choose easier ways of earning money, like drug selling or stealing.. But I think that if you start a job and then you work through years and eventally can afford something you always wanted, it gives you more satisfaction.. You feel that you have done in your life something, you can fulfill your dreams, provide life your family.. And being just gangster doesn't make your life better.. You still have to be worried about how to cope with danger, how to survive next day, next week - and if you have a family, it doesn't make their life much better too, it's obvious.

I know life is a bitch and there is no justice in the whole world and sometimes people live in deep poverty, although they don't deserve it, but we got to cope with it and try to change it. It won't change until we won't do it..

people that are too lazy to study or work, find it easier to kill someone for money then get a sholarship.

So called "gansters" are slackers and anti-socials.

it aint 'gangterism' its 'realism'.People can only truley understand when they are involved and surrounded by poverty so bad, you are forced to go lift.Since i started working after leaving school i no longer had the need to lift but i got dragged in shit due to friends etc... since ive left work money has got tight so shits hard.

I dont agree with lifting peoples belongings but att he end of the day its last resort. When your dad threatens to kick you out the house for not paying rent and shit you gotta do something.

so real I do see where your comming from. I mean I can see how a gangster has often been a victim for a long time an they have a choice of being bullied/treated bad/being poor or whatever or to turn it around in illegal ways. So its not like they are inately evil or unfeeling. I jus fink its really bad for the people whose lives they fuk up through the fings they do
