LOL, wtf? There are several people in this thread who thinks this sounds like OLD (SSLP & MMLP) Eminem?

This is absolutely NOTHING like old Eminem. There is absolutely not one SHRED of old Eminem in this...there is no similarity whatsoever. Soulja Boy sounds more like SSLP and MMLP than Eminem does on this track. He would never have made a track like this in a quintillion years back then. Not stylistically, lyrically, vocally, in terms of flow, or in terms of even doing the collaboration to begin with.

People have their heads so far up their ass they have no idea which way is up.

The only positive from this is Eminem seems clean in this song. I don't think he'd muster all the forced yelling if he'd relapsed...but who knows when this was made.

I'm sure if someone remixed Eminem's verses over a different beat I would would like it. The beat is just fucken horrible. This is the type of beat that needs a relapse voice. The Recovery esque voice doesn't suit the beat. I liked the rhymes though. Definitely not going on my ipod.

The drugs and that 4-year writing block fucked Em up. His writing skill and delivery, while better than most of the rappers out right now, are below the level of what he put out before the addiction got serious. His verses on Roman's Revenge are sick, but they don't show what he's truly capable of.

That's what I said. People were sayin "this sounds like some SSLP/MMLP shit!", I'm like WHAT?! If anything it sounds like Relapse material. Yes the verses are still better than 90% of the mainstream stuff we hear but they're still underwhelming for Em's standards

IT"S NOT AN EMINEM SONG. everyone's judging it as if it was on an EM album. which it most definitely is not. this is Nicki Minaj, it sounds like her shit. it IS her shit, and Em is just on it.
