Drake,Wayne,Kanye,Minaj I'm just hoping he is collabing with them to remind everyone who is the best as he stopped with disses. Lets remember some people are very young and think Eminem is new :shakehead: why not tap into other fan bases. However enough is enough no more of this shit.

Personally his next album should be
Beats
Dre
Em
Porter
Havoc(?)

Rappers Featuring, Any of these but not all as it is an Em album
Nas
Royce
Tech
Immortal Tech etc

If he needs to make a poppy single to let all the casual fans know he has a new album out just do one not more than 1.

oh and hopefully he drops the corny punchlines. I like most of his verses just some of the rhymes seem forced. If he has to take some lines he scribbled back in 01 I'm all for it i bet he has a thesis of good material locked away which he never used, why let it rot away.

Just my opinion

It's different when you're first starting out. He was a rising star, he needs to get his name out there, not he's already out there, he doesn't need it anymore.

Well, collaborating with Rihanna helped him expand his fanbase and become relevant again. Do I support his choices? No - I'm just stating that he hasn't always collabed with the finest artists.

Menzo wrote:And for the record, I don't get why people say he 'collabed' with Dido, I consider it to just be a sample despite performing it live with her on a few occasions.

My mistake. I guess what I'm getting at is this: he placed a pop singer on one of his songs (Stan), one of the reasons being for mainstream appeal. I don't view it that much different than the Rihanna collab, even though Stan has the superior hook.

The problem with Eminem that the OP failed to take into account is that Eminem is in a lose-lose game.

If Eminem comes back with a Relapse-Recovery a la SSLP/MMLP, people and critics will say he hasn't matured and is same old-same old.

If Eminem comes back with Relapse-Recovery very different from his first couple of albums (ie. what made him famous), which is what happened in real life, people and critics will say he's becoming a softie, pussie and that he's giving up on what made him the best, the coolest, the illest and the most famous.

Eminem can't go back to his roots but if he does, he'll get crucified. Same if he changes style. Sounds like a catch-22.

Yeah Recovery was good, but it think the beats where what made it seem odd. Ridas was too layed back, Untitled was Underground Relapse but it was still closer to old Em.

Thats the best thing i've ever seen so true

I don't understand people on this forum. Some are cool. Posting intelligent, mature, down to earth posts. I know who you are and you know who you are. But the rest of you....

Bitch about EVERYTHING lol.

Recovery was a great album. Too bad he collaborated with Lil Wayne and Pink and not D12, Dre, Obie or 50 Cent. -->FLASHBACK TO RELAPSE<-- OMG he continues to collaborate with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, Why won't he make a collab with some new artists.

The song concepts were very interesting on Recovery. But why didn't he do any "gangsta" type songs to show he isn't a pussy. Or do a Slim Shady crazy type song. -->FLASHBACK TO RELAPSE<-- WTF all the songs are Slim Shady crazy type songs and Eminem trying to sound like a tough guy. He should broaden his subject matter.

On Recovery there were a lot of great personal/emmotional songs. BUT he stepped down lyrically and had the same boring flows. -->FLASHBACK TO RELAPSE<-- Relapse was great lyrically and had a ton of diffirent, amazing flows. BUT he should do some personal/emmotional type songs.

Love The Way You Lie was a good song. Too bad he had Rhianna on it, so he obviously sold out for sales.

"I wish Eminem would preform live more." ........ WTF Eminem looks like a robot on stage when hes preforming, has no energy.

And I could go on about all the bitching about the Nicki Minaj song, how he looks, the clothes he wears, how often he releases music...

And the real crazy part is the people who are bitching about everything in one topic, are in another topic talking about: " Eminem's Best Album Since His Comback" or "Eminem's Updated Greatest Hits" or "What would you do if you could chill with Eminem at his house for one hour?"

To you people, GET A LIFE. You worship this guy and criticize this guy at the same time in the most extreme ways. To the sane people on this website, I look forward to having many more SANE conversations and debates (arguments) about hip-hop.

I couldn't agree more, his Detroit concerts where dredful to watch, he just stands still and jigs up and down, its like its not even Eminem the way he would flow across the stage in his first concert was natural, its like its killing him to move.
