^ well it's already been looked at that way by the media & pretty much everyone else, it's just a monster comeback, love or hate Recovery, you can't deny its success.

Good come back i mean Recovery is the best selling album of the year, I like Relapse with the Refill, believe the beats were superior to Recovery and the rhyming schemes were great. Recovery was the better album, I'd rank it equal with SSLP. TES and MMLP are my fav's.

My Top 12 Tracks since his come back.

"Going Through Changes"
"Stay Wide Awake"
"Almost Famous"
"25 to Life"
"Untitled" (hidden track)
"Seduction"
"Déjà Vu"
"My Darling"
"Im Having a Relapse"
"Talkin' 2 Myself" (featuring Kobe)
"The Warning"
"Beautiful"

Arghhh fuck Despicable has to be in here somewhere too :( So bad is dope too
& CWYWF

I think his next album will top Recovery. As long as he cuts down on the shouting i don't mind it as long as it is done in moderation same with the relapse voice.

I`m glad Em is back. His new stuff is different. And when I get tired of new stuff, i go to listen his old stuff. And it never gets boring or old. Been bumping SSLP last few days, and now I heard No Love in a car that drove by, so i think I`ll bump Recovery again. Oh, the beauty of beeing an Eminem fan. :D

He can still make a album like The Eminem Show. Because it is not like sslp and mmlp.

It is more soft and it didnt have so much controversy :D

Inconsistent is the best way to descirbe it really.

He's had moments of genius (Deja Vu, My Mom, LTWYL, Going Through Changes, Youre Never Over and both the 2009 and 2010 Westwood freestyles) and some absolute garbage (Not Afraid, WTP, Airplanes II verse, Romans Revenge, Wont Back Down).

As a whole, after his addiction and the horrors he made then, it's been a good comeback. His rhyming will never get to his 1997-2002 level but at times he's showed he still has it.

Just a shame that his lack of storytelling/accents/punchlines/yelling/limited content on Relapse has stifled it slightly.

agreed... Infinite ain't even better than Encore (and for the sake of it, Encore is great to me but that's not the point now..)

:facepalm

Credibility ender.

Just to be fair, others may not feel this way about the songs you've mentioned. Most of the "garbage" songs, I actually like. I still don't like WBD though, I can listen to it but it's one of my least favorite Em songs since his comeback. And WTP is okay for me, it's good when you're in a good mood

What's up with the hate on Roman's Revenge? I mean, surely you can't think Em's part is garbage, his second verse isn't that great but I like the first verse and his version of the hook a lot. I'm starting to think that people hate the song soley because Nicki's on it...please explain this to me, I wanna know what is so wrong with this song that I can't even see it. Beat? Lyrics? Delivery?

I thought both his comeback albums have been pretty solid. Not 99-02 class but definitely enough to justify his place amongst the best ever.

It still looks like he is trying to find himself though. Some of the singing, recent delivery and maybe some of the beat picking (mostly Recovery and the features outside his solo albums) have been his most obvious flaws since his return.

His current situation reminds me a bit of Jay-Z. He made the experiemental album American Gangster which got great reviews but didn't catch the attention of the masses and then made Blueprint 3 which got every average listener, so to speak, tripping.

I wouldn't be surprised if Eminem's next album is going to be less commercial and more hip hop ish. Still looking for something that can sell though.

I'm glad he seems more open minded these days and collabs with so many different artists. The new Eminem is quite interessting to me because he surprises everyone.

All 3.

"Two pees on a tripod" punchline, "eyelash" punchline, "falcon wing" punchline along with the other crap punchlines, shot voice, "no homo", annoying yelling, crap beat, terrible chorus, vulgar language for the sake of it, failed attempt to try and be "shady" and Nicki Minaj being a typically terrible rapper with two of the worst verses I've heard in a long time.

Shall I continue?

I think it's a good comeback. Obviously it hasn't been perfect and he's had his down moments since his comeback (crack a bottle, relapse, wbd, roman's revenge), but overall, his rhyming and success and the music has been pretty good. I mean, I doubt he'll be on par with his 99-02 stint which was essentially untouchable, but he's doing pretty good. If he could just drop the punchlines, and work with better rappers (even though I like that he's collaborating with other artists more), I'd be very happy with his comeback lol.

I respect everyones opinion in life, and you're a good poster.....but really?

Are we listening to the same song?

Personally I thought it was horrible from the moment I first heard it.
