Eminem thought dope songs weren't even that good ten years ago. He generally disliked anything remotely popular anyway.

Now, the best he can do sometimes is mediocre-to-bad...he does songs with Rihanna and Pink and Nicki Minaj. Times change, he's a different person.

I think one of the major problem Em had with pop artist was that he was being categorized as one. So, he dissed pop artists to separate himself from that link.

That's part of it, but in general he was more of a critic back in the day. He had better taste. Now he just likes everyone, it's ridiculous.

He just did a collab with Nicki Minaj. Who is next, Asher Roth? (who he has said is dope)

He kinda just doesn't give a shit anymore. I mean, it's not like he was some mean snob who wouldn't collab with anyone back then, but he had something resembling a standard in his prime. He turned down Canibus's wack song that he sent him and didn't collab with Madonna (who wanted to collab with him, not sure when though.)
