Both albums where unexpected i think,Relapse with it's dark themes and that accent,Recovery with producers we didn't expect and his changed style. It's good to see him back.I like both albums for different reasons, but his best(in my opinion) were the westwood freestyles, bet cypher and despicable.I feel like they are untouchable.Anxiously waiting for his next album, wondering what style he will adopt :D

He's had moments of genius (Deja Vu, My Mom, LTWYL, Going Through Changes, Youre Never Over and both the 2009 and 2010 Westwood freestyles) and some absolute garbage (Not Afraid, WTP, Airplanes II verse, Romans Revenge, Wont Back Down).

As a whole, after his addiction and the horrors he made then, it's been a good comeback. His rhyming will never get to his 1997-2002 level but at times he's showed he still has it.

Just a shame that his lack of storytelling/accents/punchlines/yelling/limited content on Relapse has stifled it slightly.

Personally I thought it was horrible from the moment I first heard it.

Incredible rhyming (consistent throughout), nice flow, humourous (the dialogue between Em and his mother), some really good storytelling - his second best song since his comeback for me. It wasnt as good as his prime stuff but one of the few songs since comeback that reminded me of that era.

I can see how people would hate the chorus, bridge and beat but I dont mind them. (I love the beat in fact).

It's been shaky at times but overall a good comeback.

Its been a great comeback for a number of reasons his music, working with new producers, wearing normal clothes now and had some great collaborations e.g. Forever, Drop The World, Airplanes etc.

So why in the world do I feel so alone
Nobody but me, I'm on my own
Is there anyone out there
Who feels the way I feel
That there is then let me in and let me know I'm not the only one.

Its bein a great comeback in terms of chart & media success. The beats on Relapse were better than recovery but the voice was better on recovery. As people have said he will never emulate 99-03 success but who knows take No Love best song since coming back imo.

The come back has been pretty good. A lot of his newer songs suck. But if he can still make songs like Stay Wide Awake and 25 to life every once in a while I'll keep listening.

I've NEVER understood how people could hate My Mom, but praise the fuck out of Hello (it annoys the fuck outta me). My Mom is vintage Shady

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake
