I've heard he has written every song for the album so I guess we'll hear a hungry Lil Wayne when the album comes out. After serving 8 months in jail and releasing Rebirth (which was his "Encore") he must be focused on winning back what he has lost.

Artists I'd like to hear on the album:

Kanye West (beats)
Jay-Z
Eminem
Nicki Minaj (although I've lost faith in her recently)

I wouldn't be surprised to see Wayne take a similar route to 2pac when he was released from prison and drop a double album

I know a lot of people on here hate Wayne (I used to too) but I seriously think if he's focused on his next album, it will be his best work
Plus you have to remember, the guy is only 28, he's already a veteran and amazingly he probably hasn't even hit his prime yet (Jay, Em, GZA, etc all only released their DEBUT when they where in and around Wayne's age)
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

Have you heard the album? Have you even heard a single song from it? (I'm not sure if that song he released, the Single song or whatever, is from C4 or not)

For all you know, it could be as garbage as the rest of his albums. Carter II was ALRIGHT

I doubt C4 will "break records". MMLP already broke sales records, and no rap album has topped it yet. Sure, it'll sell a lot, but Wayne's lost his momentum since Eminem came back. And no, I'm not trying to start another Wayne/Em argument, I'm just trying to make you see that you can't really assume that an album will be classic, without even hearing any songs from it. That's like the people saying "Recovery will be a classic!" when news of Recovery came about, when Not Afraid didn't even come out yet (I think it came not too long after, though). It's a 2010 classic, not really a classic as far as in the history of hip hop goes. Wayne has never made a classic, and will never make one. He's too saturated in himself and his money to actually rap about something worth rapping about.

"Fuck money, I don't rap for dead presidents"
Anyone who makes music for money will NEVER make a classic

Of course, I'm not just another person to jump on the Wayne hate bandwagon. If he manages to make good music, I'll respect him, but so far he has not impressed me. The most I've been impressed with Wayne was the end of his No Love verse

Yeah, I'll definitely take your word for it

Well judging by Tha Carter 3, Tha Carter 4 will be one of the shittiest rap albums of all time.

LilDouche4Lyfe, you can't honestly tell me TC3 was a good album. Thankfully Lil Wayne has 16 years old girls and ignorant black people to buy his music.
