Crack A Bottle- Waste of a huge momentum

Postby jshashwat » Nov 6th, '10, 11:59

I think Crack a Bottle was like a huuuuuge waste of all the anticipation and momentum Eminem had got built up by his huge break. I mean it was like 3-4 years and it reached no.1 because of the break. so if it could reach on the top being a shit song.... it would like be a big thing if the song was good... what do you'll think?

it doesn't matter anymore, if you're talking about success then Recovery's singles already made up for it.

The real question is: Could he manage to produce a really good song at the moment? It had been a long time since he did something, and he sure was a bit rusty. Beautiful may have done good, though.

Good song > Bad song

It was never meant to be a no.1 single, the song was leaked and people started liking it, was being played at clubs, partys etc. The tune is catchy but its not the best singles to put out then again it was accidental.

I'm not so sure I agree. Imagine that 'We Made You' was the FIRST single, I'm almost sure it would've been more dissapointing. And in my "freinds circle" it was quite popular, and that is people in their early 20s not listening to rap. It was played at clubs etc, that doesnt happen very often to Emine here in Sweden.

Anyways, I'm out for the night, it's a saturday, I suggest you do the same! ;) :b:

i remember in an interview or something because of the leak dre had to rush it and they couldn't tap into their potential or full attention to their song. something along those lines

Yeah i guess after 3-4 years out his confidence wasn't as high, so when the song leaked and people started playing it they were like "right we better finish this and release it there's more chance of success"

That said, it was decent until they put 50 on it. Possibly the laziest verse i have ever heard lol
