Eminem performs in SP under strong RAIN
Contrary to the news that their shows had been despondent over the world, as well as his recent stage musical, Eminem showed excitement in his first presentation expected in Brazil, which occurred late on Friday (Nov. 5) at the Jockey Club of São Paulo, F1 festival in the Rocks. Diversified repertoire, and even with the heavy rain that fell in the capital city during his show, he had the full attention of those present.
The arena set in the Jockey has far from crowded. However, those who have assisted him to the event a performance worthy of one of the biggest names in world music in recent times.
The rain just an excuse for the show to begin much later than promised but has not determined to dictate the pace of the audience, which remained excited. Delayed and shortened the shows quite Marcelo D2 and NERD, who played before Eminem, and almost ruined the presentation of the Detroit rapper. Eminem took the stage at around 23h and showed their best.
Discreet in costumes and wearing all black, with a pair of shorts, hooded jacket and cap, which protected him from rain, Slim Shady has shown that today's savvy and objective. Without much rodeo, walked past their hits, giving the public what he expected.
During the show, showed bands of recent "Recovery", by memories of 10 years ago by "The Real Slim Shady" (2000), through the passage of the new song "Airplanes," recorded with rapper BoB and teen singer Hailey Williams, the group Paramore. He took time to remember the tragic "Stan", which brings the English Dido in the chorus, and "Lose Yourself", which secured the first and only Oscar for a rapper, in the category soundtrack (8 Mille - Street of Illusion / 2003) .
The audience was varied: few rap fans properly dressed in baggy pants and caps, mixed with many teenagers and adults, who seemed to know the sound of Eminem parties or just clips. There were also those who seem to have the raps of the U.S. as the soundtrack of youth, very well represented by the work of the angry and ironic rapper.
Before his last acclaimed album, "Recovery," Eminem came from a series of failed marketing, thanks to jobs that did not sell. Some reasons were problems with antidepressant drugs and constant fights with his ex-wife, who brought the focus of the rapper. In late 1990, Eminem appeared as one of the biggest-selling artists in the genre, despite being one of the only white rappers in the spotlight.
