The song is brilliant,and the Tonya skit before adds a cinematic feel to it.


Where to start?
The beat is great,very fitting.
The Metallica sample goes so well with the eerie choir in the background.

The lyrics...
Well,they're one of the best Em has written in a while.
The storytelling,the flow,the multies,literally EVERYTHING.

This is a standout track,best on Relapse,along with Déjà Vu.
It's like a soundtrack to a movie. A twisted movie that only the sickest viewers can perceive as art...
Reminds me of Eminem at his best.

I love how everyone is suddenly praising Relapse so late lmao.

Many of us knew it was amazing since day one, so many people caught up in what he should or shouldn't be rapping about and ignoring the technique.

This song is a classic and in parts is the closest he's come to his old wit.

In particular I'm thinking of...
Hold that pill any longer it'll get sentimental value
Come-on toots, give me the valium alleyoop...
I'll slam dunk it in your mouth til you puke
And just as soon you pass out in your alphabet soup

That is hilarious and it has that dark spark that made his prime horror-core work intriguing. The way he uses gentle phrasing like "toots" in such a fucked up context etc. lmao. And the imagery he creates, "pass out in your alphabet soup".

I like Recovery too but in comparison, the lyricism is corny as fuck. Relapse writing still had that... awareness of character, the sort of scathing cynicism and unique phrasing. On Recovery he tries to fit in with the crowd, in his own way.
