Carter 2 is not a classic in my opinion, a classic album is like illmatic, The Chronic, Reasonable Doubt, Ready To Die etc. I would say Recovery >>>> Carter 2 and recovery not a classic. Wayne will get outshined by all of them, tech n9ne will destroy him.

Well, someone could easily turn around and say that C3 was a good album to YOU, but not to US. It is not generally considered a classic. It was just really popular because of the hype, but the quality of the music...ugh, it disgusted me, about the only song I liked on that album is Playing With Fire. Shit, if you wanna go off of success, the you might as well call Encore a classic...

A classic is identified by the quality of the music and of the artist. Something that truly stands out from the crowd. Is C3, or even C2, unique at all? Rhymes aren't everything. The beat is great and the flow is on point, yes he doesn't rhyme like Royce da 5'9". Does that make it bad music? No.
