Who is the better actor debate on IMDB i'm having.

But Eminem vs Justin Timberlake. Now i'm probably a little biased as an Em fan but some of these arguments im seeing against Eminem is astounding. Just because he hasnt been in as many films as Timberlake does not mean Timberlake is a better actor like these couple posters are saying.

Eminem i bet get's just as many scripts as Timberlake. He has said in interviews he get's a ton and turns them down. I mean why is that a bad thing? You should care about the films you do and not just do any old crap that is sent your way.

Eminem is just as much of an actor as Timberlake is. For people to act like 8 Mile was a one time thing are fooling themselves. Em as i said has turned down countless of opportunities. He get's scripts all the time. He's an actor. Actor's get scripts. Just because Em is smart doesnt make him a bad actor like some of these people are assuming. He's just smart about what he chooses to do. Timberlake seems to take whatever crap he get's offered. Yes he has drawn praise for his work in some but has been slammed for his work in others. Overall he is slammed way more than praised.

it's too hard to decide this, Em's only done one movie and a few cameo's so there really is no acting expierience within him

JT has had a few movies and has experience and his performance in Social Network was done really well so I can see him making a few more movies in the future

Hopefully Em does a movie role soon so his acting potential will get noticed as well

Eminem has sold millions of records more, Has won more Grammys, Is the better actor, has an Academy Award. Get's countless of scripts that he turns down.

Eminem did fairly well in 8-mile, but that's his only major role. That's not enough for me to compare him to Timberlake. Not saying he's better or worse, but Em is still an unproven actor.

Heck, even Will Smith is a more relevant comparison to Timberlake.

Em's a good actor.. but it probly wasnt that hard for him to play the part as it was similar to his real life in many ways.. im gonna have to go with JT, only reason being as he's been in more movies and has a bigger variety of roles. would be good to see Em in a role completely outside of his element.

True enough, but I think it's only fair to judge them once Em does a few more roles. I think he'd be pretty decent, his music videos are usually pretty good and he has good facial expressions.

I agree, you can't really make a decision based on the fact that Em hasnt really played any roles apart from something similar to his own character.

I liked JT in Alpha Dog, and I heard he was good in Social Network playing Shawn Fanning's character. Like dude said, Em has only been in 8 Mile and a few other little scenes. Hard to say though.

Umm....It kind of is. Because if you've acted in more movies then you have more experience and the ability to showcase diverse acting abilities in different characters.
However this might not apply to Justin....

Why not? Eminem's only major role is where he pretty much plays himself -- that wasn't a true test for him.

Also, mentioning sales & the amount of music awards that Em has over Justin in a movie forum is unnecessary. It doesn't add to the argument of who's the better actor. How were those quality arguments?

See this is the one huge downfall of the world's poppulation of stans. Stans cant admit em's faults as a person or a musician much as they should. They will defend his name to the death over something that really doesnt matter,
