Well, he said if him and Method Man were to go back and forth bar for bar that he would win. And, well, he would lol.

Amadeo wrote:Oh, also didn't like how he said it was unfair that Eminem got to rewrite his own verses. Not only is he Joe's boss and he can do what he wants, but rewriting your verse is more of a COMPLIMENT to them. Editing your work isn't unfair... perfectionism is good and so is some friendly competition.

It would be like Eminem getting signed by Dre in 1999 and saying it's unfair how Dre gets to spend more time crafting beats than he does...

Well I didn't like that either, it's bitchy. Not only because of the fact that I seriously doubt Em re-wrote his then prohibited anyone else from re-writing theirs. THAT would be 'unfair'.

But it's not like they're not free to do the same, he wanted to better his verse, so fucking what. They can do the same and may the best man win, totally fair.

I don't think Joe was insulting Em by saying that though I kind of think it was a compliment as he was saying Em is so unpredictable and a different species on the mic it's just not predictable or manageable. But he does seem like a cocky cunt anyway.

Amadeo, usually I respect your opinion, but you're reaching, bro. He was giving Eminem a compliment.. He said with Eminem it's more than just that, Eminem can do so much more than just being an incredible rapper. With Jay-Z you know what you get, with Eminem you don't, 'cause he can give you all kinds of voices, different flows, personalities, etc.

And Joe Budden is far from overrated, he's underrated actually. And, yes, he is better than Method Man, lryically, that's what he said, and every rapper thinks he's better than the rest. And frankly speaking, Method Man is pretty shit lyrically. Ego or not, Joey was speaking the truth. To me it seems like you just don't like him, give the guy a chance. Have you listened to his work?

About the re-writing, he was halfly joking about it while promoting the song. Letting you all know how ''dope'' this song is going to be if Eminem, Crooked and Royce re-wrote their verses.

Amadeo wrote:
He said "with Jay-Z, you know he's going to be incredible, but with Eminem..." This pretty much implied that Eminem isn't consistent and he can sometimes disappoint.

He's allowed his own opinion (I know that he said Beautiful was a shit song... fair comment), but I just think that's disrespectful and biting the hand that feeds him. I wouldn't care if Nas or Jay-Z, two accomplished rappers, criticized Eminem. But this is Joe Budden we're talking about...

Eminem isn't even his boss yet.

Ayo, my pen and paper cause a chain reaction
To get your brain relaxing, a zany acting maniac in action
A brainiac in fact son, you mainly lack attraction
You look insanely whack when just a fraction of my tracks spun
My rhyming skills got you climbing hills
I travel through your mind into you spine like siren drills
I'm sliming grills of roaches, with sprayed on disinfectants
Twist the necks of rappers 'til their spinal column disconnects

I didn't said he didn't want him on the track. But he seems to prefere Jay-z's style, then Em's and he def didn't sound happy cause Em changed his verse & not hear it(till that point).Tho he has nothing to worry about ,his last album was great. :smoking:

I think he just means that it's unfair to him because Em is MORE than a good lyricist, he just brings a whole new energy and level to the songs he's' on and he (Budden) is at a disadvantage. It's kind of a bitching yet happy kind of complaining lol. It's the way I took it.

Yes cause Eminem's new style really fits a legit hip hop track with members of slaughterhouse...

Since when has Eminem only had ONE style of rapping? :confusion: Have you not heard of changing style/mood/way of rapping depending on the beat or subject matter?

@Nicole I agree with Bis he's just complimenting Em by saying it's "unfair" to him that Eminem is gonna be on there instead of Jay-Z because Em is so dope and unpredictable, nothing more.
