Why won't Em make a song with Nas?

See, the thing about a Nas x Eminem record should not be about who outshines the other, but rather a cohesive song that shows what each of them can bring to the table. See Distant Relatives, I don't think Nas outshines Damian, nor Damian Nas; they compliment each other extremely well.

Em needs to find his style again. For the first time I'm questioning if he still has it. Was listening to the Slim Shady EP today, and what he is putting right now is nothing in comparison (obviously).

Nas being Nas and Eminem shouting would be a disastrous song and would damage Em's legacy.

Elephant sitting in the living room: Nas would be too embarrassed to collab with Eminem. He's one of those "hard image" cats that is afraid of what other black hip hop heads would think of him if he did a song with the white guy on MTV who dresses up in ridiculous costumes. He's afraid for his image.

Eminem would hop on a track with Nas in a NY minute...Nas, though he likes/respects Eminem, is afraid of peer reaction if he goes too far as a fan of his. The underground "hip hawp" elitists have never been too fond of Eminem.

Best chance we have of hearing Eminem/Nas on a track together is if he works with DJ Premier and they get a couple of other underground-style black rappers who are respected by the "raw, rugged underground hip hawp, son" elitists on the track with them. Think "Classic."
