Because no one cares about sales.

I support good music, not the most popular music. I couldn't give a fuck less about sales.

(Apparently that's all Wayne fans have to care about).

Damn!

Eminem is really in his own lane.

Funny thing is, 2009 / 2010 / & 2011 are probably the years DRAKE will be at the peak of his popularity (as he is fresh/new) and Eminem's sales are DOUBLE that of Drake's, in his 11th year lol.

I imagine Kanye will be up there though at the end of the year, will probably be 2nd.

Man that's a crime against music that B.o.B has only sold what he has and that piece of shit Drake is the 2nd highest rap act of the year. His album is a coaster.

True but the Gorillaz album Plastic Beach is listed as an alternative hip-hop album so on the billboard list its classed as a hip-hop album.

I like how Eminem and Drake are in the millions, and everyone else kinda just...isn't. Which isn't very good, considering how popular B.o.B. is, you'd figure he'd have sold a lot more than he actually did. Plus, B.o.B. > Drake

Absolutely.

B.o.B is 100 times the artist Drake is. In fact I resent even having to call Drake an artist Although, having that title doesn't necessarily imply you're a quality artist.

B.o.B is talented in every department. Vocally, lyrically, conceptually and musically. He's so naturally inclined to ideas and melody and has the most potential to propel and evolve the genre (and music in general) into something euphoric, of anybody I've seen since Em.

Where as Drake just croons shitty B-side RnB choruses over tacky beats with corny punchlines. He's not musical or lyrical, he's just annoying.

At least Em beat Drake though, so I'm glad for that
If Drake had beat out Eminem, I don't know what the music industry was coming to. It's still not a very good future, but with quality artists like Em, Kanye, Kid Cudi, B.o.B., and other rappers and bands who actually dropped GOOD albums this year, the future doesn't look so bad
