Given the expectations, I can't wait to see what appears.

Well that's the myth but Dre said recently that in all actuality, he hasn't been focusing on it. So it's not like he's been hard at work on it for six years.

He kept getting distracted and doing other things. It's just been an idea for that long. But he said in reality, actual work taken place on it has been months, not years.

Nah that's something he said like, when he first thought of the album I think.

And I'm sure it will disappoint lmao. Not because the material will be bad but just because... with such a long-wait and such legendary build-up some people will literally be expecting the second incarnation of Mozart, in hip-hop form. Which just isn't going to happen lmao.

I'm sure the production will be bombastic, but it's still going to be an album worth of tracks packed with ganja references and gangsta clichés. Which love Dre or not, you have to admit is getting old now and is a tired thing to present in 2010.

I was excited when I read he was going to try and make it a sort of hip-hop musical, with each track telling its own story. But apparently he's copped out of that now and is just gonna provide another retread. Hope that I'm proven wrong, doubt I will be.
