Alien Rock Band is the next movie from the director of Kung Fu Panda
Group on Earth will try his luck in the Intergalactic Battle of the Bands
John Stevenson, co-directors of Kung Fu Panda, has been tipped to take on the We3 He-Man, but none of these projects geared. Stevenson now to another part: Alien Rock Band.
The mix of live action and computer graphics, produced by Vanguard Films, shows a garage band from Earth traveling through the universe to try their luck at the Battle of the Bands Intergalactic. Among eight-armed drummers of space, the movie should offer special appearances by the likes of Katy Perry and Eminem.
Britain's Dave Stewart, a member of the Eurythmics, is one of the filmmakers. Some concept art for Alien Rock Band are already in the network, and a sketch of the poster that made reference to music games. Check on the right and the gallery.
Vanguard Animation is responsible for second line - compared with the DreamWorks films where Stevenson worked - as Valiant, EPIC in Cinderella and Space Chimps. In the agreement that the director signed with the producer, he still produce future Buzby, City of Dragons and Atomic Circus, besides driving Rotten Island, CGI animation on an island dominated by monsters, the same author of Shrek, William Steig.
Alien Rock Band is that it takes priority, but has not had its premiere scheduled.
