I don't see how anyone can seriously consider Biggie or Pac as GOAT. I mean, I can understand why they've had all that hype but Biggie only released 2 albums and yes, they're both classics, but he was mainstream as fuck. If Biggie lived long enough he'd of made plenty of shitty albums, the only reason he's hyped so much imo is 'cause he's dead.

Now, Pac status of GOAT is more understandable than Biggie's, he was diverse as fuck and could bring a shit load of emotion in his songs. He was a true poet for his people/culture, but imo in his whole catalouge, alive or dead, he has 2 classics; Me Against the World & All Eyez On Me

Don't get me wrong, I love them both but Em's the all round greatest rapper to touch the mic imo

Those three, by far, are ahead of Eminem. Big L and 2Pac are in classes of their own (easily top two greatest ever). Biggie is right behind them.

If Eminem stuck with his SSLP/MMLP/TES style, I have no doubt in my mind he'd be the GOAT. But, he didn't. Encore was a joke, and Relapse was trash.

But the icing on the cake (#1 reason why Eminem is NOT the GOAT) is the Recovery era. He sold out and turned his back on everything that he stood for when he came up by doing all these commercial/radio-friendly/teenage girl songs with Rihanna and Nikki Minaj. Pac and L always kept it real, and wouldn't ever dream of doing that shit. Why does Eminem get a free pass? GTFO.

Recovery isn't even bad. People just make it out like it is because they saw the names Rihanna and Pink on there. I don't care who's on the album, as long as the songs are good that's all that matters. I hate ICP, but if ICP and Em collaborated, and the song was GREAT, then I wouldn't dismiss it like you pretty much did. You basically said that Recovery sucks because of the collaborations, didn't even mention the songs or the production or anything. I hate Rick Ross, but that didn't stop me from liking Kanye's new album

I'd much rather him give a fuck. A lot of people who didn't used to take him seriously in the past take him seriously now. I think that's Em's current aim, that and to just try to kill everything he makes (not that he does, but he certainly tries, maybe a little too hard). Maybe he'll learn not to try so hard and just...do. Other rappers who aren't as great lyrically, conceptually, or flowise get more props because they make it simply look easy. Like Lil Wayne. He makes rapping look like the easiest fucking thing in the world, he does it effortlessly. I mean, Wayne sucks ass and anyone who thinks he's the best alive should be shot, but there must be some reason why people like him so much. I see people around me, smart people who also like good music, listen to Wayne, calling him a "genius" and I don't understand why anyone would say that about Wayne.

Em is about the only rapper i could listen to all of his songs without skipping one(well maybe except infinite&some very early sings and 3am lol).Proof comes after him,but then again he only had 2 albums and 2 mixtapes(besides D12),so doesn't really count.So no i don't see anyone better then him right now.But that's just my opinion,i don't expect everybody to agree with me,don't really care lol
Also who sais that 2Pac and Biggie are underground needs to listen to some of their songs again lol.
