"Buffalo Bill" - "Music Box" almost a year later

Postby venomous_volatile » Nov 13th, '10, 20:14

Love for the serial killer shit, how did these songs get buried?

Em's flow on both of these tracks is crazy. The lyrics are outstanding

Such cynicism when there’s izm in my system,
blunt hypnotism, lift the spliff up to my lip son.

The sick Satan worshippin’, bitches get horse-whippins,
I’m in the back, through the back door, slip in
Through the crack leavin’ the corpse drippin’
The mortician of love, sent from above,

Two classics from Refill that only us Em fans know :smoking:

Seen Em live twice. Thanks Slim.

Buffalo Bill is outstanding. The rhyming is as good as that of Stay Wide Awake. And both have phenomenal beats.

Love the horrorcore shit.

The third verse of Music Box is phenomenal.

Both have fantastic lyrics and flows. As well as beats :y:

If we had gotten Relapse 2 last year, Recovery this year, then a new album next year or 2012, then that would have been :worship:

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

I can't stand Buffalo Bill almost as much as I can't stand some of the Encore tracks but Music Box is easily top 15 tracks since his comeback imo and only Stay Wide Awake, Deja Vu, and Beautiful are better from the Relapse era

I personally thought Buffalo Bill was horrible, I listened to it only twice or so :coffee:

But Music Box is definately the best song off Refill, the rhyming and the flow, especially in the third verse, is just phenomenal.

The first half of the third verse of Buffalo Bill is one of my favorite parts of any Eminem song ever.

LOL. I hate people acting like they were the only ones who appreciated Relapse when it came out and that everybody who says they like it now is just being a hypocrite. This may surprise you, but you're not the only one who accredited Relapse from the day it dropped.
