Because while Eminem wasn't active in the game, Lil wayne Kanye etc.. came and "took" his place. I mean, they became famous and respected and shit, you know what i mean.
And if Em went at all theses rappers, he would have lost a lot of respect/potential fans. A lot of people forgot him while he was on drugs..

Eminem kissing mainstream's ass in order to avoid drama is basically the only logical explanation for thinking Wayne is dope. And that Who Want it verse was fucking amazing I thought. He should that style atleast for songs like WTP and other type of club songs.

I'd say most Em fans probably aren't Wayne fans, but regardless of who he dissed - People who love his lyricism, music and art, listen to him for those reasons.

He could do whatever, his music still is what it is. Whether he's an asshole or a saint. Also, I'd hardly say he was 'forgotten' about whilst on drugs. He just chose not to put music out, but pretty much made headlines and shut the net down every time he farted.

Yeah that verse is awesome, the structure / delivery of it.

I'd definitely like to hear that style again. He should use that and his... 03 / Cheers voice for an entire album. As, he hasn't exactly over-done it. But we've all heard him yell plenty n ow.

He changed up his delivery so much now it's kind of hard to imagine he can go back to that style again especially the 03/Cheers era. I mean I get his voice is deep but his delivery seems to be lacking these days. He makes up for being lyrical though, but it's nice to have a combination of both once in a while.
