Cuz it's being run to the ground now, kind of like the accents were. It was a lot fresher when Recovery was first released. Almost Famous was also better content-wise than anything he has put out post-Recovery, IMO.

I love Almost Famous personally. And I don't think its hypocritocal because like I said the shouting was fresh back then so it felt like it had more of a purpose whereas now he just keeps on doing it over and over for the sake of it.

Yeah because it fits that song perfectly.

The beat is half the equation. Due to his flow on that beat, and the nature of the beat - It's more drawn out and direct. It just sounds thumping and awesome. Sounds like it shouldn't be any other way for that track.

But he used to fit his tone and energy to the beat as well. Lately he's keeping the same tone regardless which is why to some people, it sounds out of place.
