I swear his flow on Patiently Waiting is.. perfect. Why can't he flow like that anymore today? And his delivery is.. perfect. It blends perfectly with the beat, nowadays it's just shouting, shouting, and shouting...

I don't feel that we necessarily need to go back 7 years, but I see what you're sayin'. The last verses that Em has put out (the collabs) have had some unnecessary shouting IMO, here's a couple of examples from 09/10, that I feel if he would've done in a similar way, we would appreciate the verses more, especially the Royce collab. Thing is with these examples (see below), he spits with anger and emotion, but not "choked" and "screaming".

To express Emotion/Anger you don’t have to be Screaming, that is however how Em does it nowadays...

Emotion /& Anger >>>>>>> Screaming.

He always sound more than good if he's rapping on his own beat ;)
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I agree with 03 Em >

But that's one of his worst in 03. Not bad, but one of the worst of the bunch.

I agree with Berry, this verse is weak. Gangster Em is horrible. I don't mind his delivery and flow though, just rhyme wise its average.

I haven't seen the shit before either. It was a great performance :y:

But, is it just me or did Jay fuck up a couple of times? Em did great though, really does sound as close to perfect as he could get it

Good verse, but nothin special. Thats cuz im not a big fan of that scattered rhyme pattern he uses. I mean, its good, but thats it.
