How can you hate on Drake?

Postby FreeSpeech » Nov 16th, '10, 05:48

I don't see what's not to like. Good, entertaining rapper, great singer, relatable songs, nice guy. I like Wayne for his entertainment but I can see how some people don't. But Drake? What's not to like? I think it's funny how J Cole get's all the props he does from the same people who hate on Drake. If Drake was signed to the Roc and was pals with Jay and not Wayne, I bet it would be different.

Probably.

Drake could be good if he wasn't constantly making young money/radio type of tracks. I bet if he was signed to Jay he would make better music.....Can't hate on him though, he's getting money. :sweating:

He IS good, but I see what you're saying. I'm disappointed when he makes songs saying "I wish I could fuck every girl in the world" because I don't think that's really his personality or how he acts.

His rhyming is predictable and boring. I don't really hate him though, I like that he's just doing his thing and not trying to be something he's not (unlike Rick Ross).

Maybe I'll like his album(s) someday.

He's very average and boring to put it simply.

"So Far Gone" is really good and promising, but Thank Me Later was one of the most forgettable albums I've ever listened to. There's better rappers out there that I need to spend time on other than him.

I actually like Drake. Light Up and Over are amazing :worship:

Hopefully he cuts down on the love tracks a little on his next album.
